With both transient and year-round slips, Columbia Island Marina has a home for your powerboat. Located on the Pentagon Lagoon on the Virginia side of the river, it’s the ideal place to enter the Potomac for fishing or cruising by the monuments. Amenities include a 24-hour boat ramp, 30/50 amp power, gas dock that sells mid-grade unleaded gasoline, pump out system, and delicious dining and catering services at the Columbia Island Café.

James Creek Marina

Where the Potomac and Anacostia join in Washington, DC

Directly east of Fort McNair, James Creek Marina is located at the confluence of the Potomac, the Anacostia, and the Washington Channel. We offer 297 seasonal and transient wet slips and can accommodate vessels from 16 to 160+ feet. Amenities include a gas station with 89-octane unleaded, diesel, and two-cycle oil, floating docks with finger piers, pump out, 30A-125V and 50A-250V shore power, and winter de-icing system.

Washington Sailing Marina

On the Potomac in Alexandria, VA

Washington Sailing Marina is the home for one-design and small sailboat racing in the DC Metro area. We offer both floating slips up to 35 feet and dry storage and are packed with amenities. Also available are boat rentals, adult sailing classes, youth sailing day camps, and exquisite dining and specialty cocktails at the Indigo Restaurant, which offers picturesque views of DC across the Potomac.
